Apex Athletix Foundation is kicking off their Annual Shoot-A-Thon Fundraiser on Saturday, May 20th from 11am-3pm and we would appreciate your support and participation.

The Shoot-A-Thon is our largest fundraiser of the year and proceeds are used to provide scholarships and financial aid to student athletes in need to help pay for monthly dues, uniforms, shoes, backpacks, tournament fees, camps/clinics, and travel expenses (i.e. airline tickets, hotels, etc.).

This year we have added an adult (18 yrs or older) division with a 50/50 cash prize. See details below to learn more.

HOW DOES THE SHOOT-A-THON FUNDRAISER WORK?

It’s simple. Athletes will shoot free throws for 90 seconds on Saturday May 20th. Leading up to the Shoot-A-Thon participants will ask their friends and family to sponsor every shot made or to make a flat donation. Not only will this event help Apex Athletix Foundation raise money, but it will also encourage student athletes to work on their free throw skills, which is a vital part to every basketball player’s game.

Typical sponsorship amounts range between $1 and $20 or more per shot made. Flat fee donations typically range from $10 to $100 or more. Donations must be sent in before May 27th. (Grand prize will not be awarded until all donations have been recorded)

PRIZES:
Level 1 Prize: Raise $100 - APEX ATHLETIX Dri-Fit Long Sleeve Shirt

Level 2 Prize: Raise $250 - Level 1 Prize + 1 Groups Skills Training Session

Level 3 Prize: Raise $500 - Level 2 Prize + 1 Dr. Dish Shooting Machine Rental

Level 4 Prize: Raise $1,000 - Level 3 Prize + Custom The Rock Basketball

Top Shooters & Fundraiser - Level 4 Prize New Balance TWO WXY V3 Shoes + 2 Personal Skills Training Sessions (3 Total) + 2 Dr. Dish Shooting Machine Rentals (3 Total).

GRADE DIVISIONS: K-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-7th, 8th-9th, 10th-12th
***K-3 will shoot their free throws from a shorter distance

ADULT DIVISION: Must be 18 years+ and provide a $25 Donation/Entry fee.

ADULT DIVISION PRIZE: Most Free Throws made in Adult Division will receive 50% cash of the proceeds from the adult division & bragging rights (i.e., If adult division raises $500 you will win $250 cash)
